Why don't they make transferring your license plates easy? Good question, I've determined that they could care less about anything called "Customer Service."
After jumping through the hoops back in North Carolina just to get the title sent here to Kansas, I had to jump through the hoops here to get my van "inspected" and then pay big bucks to get a new tag.
The only good thing was that I got there early enough I didn't really have to wait long in line.
Maybe we could get together as states and come up with an easy solution for people who have to move.
Probably not.

Hair Cuts
I think that haircuts are one of the most annoying things to do. I know when I have to get one but I hate taking the time to go. Then when I finally do take the time I hate waiting 20-30 minutes for one.
So I usually drive by one of the places and look to see how many people are waiting in line for a haircut. Then I have to decide if I'm going to stay there and wait or gamble that the other haircut place down the street has a shorter wait.
Today my gamble paid off. The second place didn't have a wait at all. Although it does cost a little bit more.
I guess you take the good and you take the bad.
And I know, my hair is going away....soon I won't have this problem.

Busy Morning
I'm starting a new pattern in my life. As many of you know I am now a member of the YMCA. Not only that, but I've met with a personal trainer to set up a program that I can follow. And I want everyone to know that I'm sticking to the program.
So I head to the Y on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I've decided that the mornings are the easiest time for me to go. Plus there aren't as many people there. So I'm trying to become a morning person.
The alarm goes off this morning at 6 AM and I roll out of bed, put on my work-out clothes and head out. I have to say that I feel better after doing this in the morning.
So I get home at about 8 AM and decide that I'll just mow the lawn before I take a shower. (Oh, remind me to tell you about why I have a new lawn mower...not cool.)
After the lawn is done I look in the garage and see all of the boxes that I need to take out before even one of our cars will fit inside. So I pile them up in the back of the van and drop them off at the dumpster.
I get home at about 10 AM and realize its time for me to take a shower. I think I can be lazy for the rest of the day. I've already done so much.
Wow.

Great Weekend
Well I have to say that we had a really good weekend. I was preaching for my dad since he just returned from Israel last week. So I finished up the series he started two weeks ago. It was fun.
And we had our second Pinocchio Parenting class too. We even added a few new couples to the class! And one of the couples brought scones! Great stuff.
So we had a good day yesterday at Evangel.

They're Back
My family has made it back from their trip to Israel. We picked them up from the airport last night. My kids were really excited to see their grandma and papa again.
I'm glad they made it home safe.

Sickness
It just seems that sickness has hit my family right now. In 10 years of marriage I don't think Crystal and I have had to make too many trips to the doctor. (Not counting when she was pregnant) But it seems that lately both my kids have been sick and I've been battling whatever this junk is that I have.
Crystal is still healthy. Pray that she stays that way.
And I'm praying for my son. We need to find out what's making him sick.
