If you didn't believe that the Cowboys/Redskins rivalry is a big deal, just look at the lengths one Redskin fan went to in order to show how much he hated the Cowboys.

Very creative...or maybe they just have too much time and money on their hands.
Here's hoping the Cowboys can win this game!

Is it really magic?
So I hear that there is a special on television tonight. It's called David Blaine: Dive of Death. Basically, Blaine is hanging upside down for 60 straight hours above a skating rink in New York City. And tonight live on TV he's got something special planned for all of us. Something called the Dive of Death.
Ok, I admit, I'm a fan of some good magic. I always want to know how these guys do what they do. And sometimes even these little "stunts" peak my interest. I was almost going to DVR it to watch it tomorrow.
But is it really a "death defying" stunt? I won't spoil the surprise here, just click here and here to find out some interesting news about this "death defying" stunt.
But maybe I'll still DVR it....

I'm not a PC
Ok, I need to start off by saying that I'm not a PC. I don't use a PC, nor do I ever want to use a PC again.
I also want to say that I love the Mac ads that have been around for a while. They're still creative and really funny.
Now I see Microsoft is getting into the game with some new ads. First it was the ad with Bill Gates and Jerry Seinfeld that I still don't get. Then the sequel that didn't make much sense either.
Now Microsoft has pulled all the stops in their new ads. They've pulled out all the creativity they can muster with their new campaign. It seems that everyone in the world is a PC. After being bombarded with these brand new ads on TV and various places on the internet I have to say that I'm still not a PC.
I'm a little disappointed in the lack of creativity with these new ads. Isn't that one of the issues that the Mac ads point out? Doesn't seem Microsoft is clearing things up.
And maybe I'm the only one out there, but I still don't get them. Maybe someone out there can explain what Microsoft is doing?

It was a good night
I know, this is the 2nd Post on the Cowboys in a row but I have to say how happy I was last night. It was great to see the Cowboys get their first win ever at Lambeau Field.
Hopefully the winning continues.

Rookie Mistake
Ok, it's been a few days since my last post. I know, I'm slacking off. And I still haven't posted the second part of my TPC Sawgrass trip video. I really have no excuse.
So let's talk about something else. Maybe a video that I want to share with all of you. If you didn't know, this past Monday night the Cowboys won a great game against the Eagles. There were several incredible plays throughout the game but this one really stands out from the rest.
And I must admit, this video makes me smile every time.

Next week I promise to catch up with my blog.

I love Rock and Roll
You'll just have to watch these videos. Really, they speak for themselves. And don't cheat yourself by not watching them both in their entirety.
I have no more words...just watch.

Early Christmas
This post looks long...but read until the end...you won't regret it! Well, you won't regret it that much.
On Monday my wife and daughter went on a school field trip to the State Fair. So that left my 4 year old son with me all day. Now I love having these daddy/son days...they're a lot of fun. In fact, I love having my daughter/daddy days too.
I decided it would be great to run some errands and do some early Christmas shopping for my wife. I know what you're thinking. It's only September and you're already shopping for your wife? Wow, either you're a great husband or a huge dork. I must admit, I'm probably a little bit of both. But I digress.
Anyway, I saw in the ads that morning that some of the stores may have this special gift I was wanting to buy my wonderful wife for Christmas. It is the type of gift that if you find it you need to buy it. You're not guaranteed to get it later. I was already a day behind since the ads were released on Sunday morning.
So my boy and me set out to look for this great present.
We stopped at Target first. We both love Target. He loves to walk up and down the toy isles letting me know what he needs. So after looking in the toy department we looked for this special gift for Crystal. And wouldn't you know it...they had one left. So we purchased the gift and headed out of the store.
Now, I needed to head to Best Buy to buy a new cell phone case so that was our next stop. My son loves playing the video games at Best Buy so we had to stop over at the Wii so he could play Mario Kart. (Even though we have a Wii and Mario Kart at home)
And wouldn't you know it...they had the gift there too! How could this be possible? It was my lucky day I guess. So I purchased the same gift at Best Buy knowing that I could get Reward points there. So if you're keeping track at home, now I have two of the same gifts.
So we head back to Target just an hour or so later to return the gift I had purchased there. But this isn't the funny part. Wait for it...here it comes.
On the way home from Target I tried to explain to my son that this was a Christmas present for mommy. I was going to hide it and he needed to help me keep the secret. But he just didn't agree. His plan was that we wrap the present when we get home and mommy could open it when she got home with Alexis.
Now, you try to reason with a 4 year old. Try to get them to keep a secret when they're super excited. So when we got home we pulled out the Christmas wrapping paper and we both wrapped this special gift. We put it by the fire place (since we don't have a tree up yet...it's only September) so mommy would see it when she got home.
Then it was time for our nap. I was hoping that he would forget about the present during his nap and I could still hide it from Crystal. But that just didn't happen. He woke up from his nap right before Crystal walked in the door and ran into the living room to make sure the present was still there. The minute he heard the garage door open he bolted for the door. When he opened the door he yelled out for Crystal that we had a special present for her. So much for the surprise.
She came in and I tried to explain to her what was going on. She just smiled. I tried to explain what was happening but it didn't seem to matter. All we heard was that it was time to open her Christmas present.
And she did. Want to know what it was? Watch the video below (Facebook users will need to click view original post to see the video)
Merry Christmas.

Crazy Week
I will post my video from Sawgrass this week! That is my goal...but things have really gotten away from me. It doesn't seem that I have any time to write to the blog lately.
So my pledge is to have the video up and running by Friday!
(I know that so many of you are just waiting to see it!)

Sawgrass
Finished playing the Stadium course at TPC Sawgrass and now I'm sitting here at the airport. I've got a couple of hours waiting for our first flight to Atlanta then we're heading to Wichita. I should be home at 10:30 tonight.
I took some great video from the course today, I'll try and get those posted sometime tomorrow. I'm convinced that this course we played today is as close as you can get to heaven on earth. It was incredible.
Overall, great trip. Heard some great stories and saw some incredible things happen for Asia Pacific Missions.
But I'm pretty tired and ready to be in my own bed tonight.
