Ok, I'll admit that I really like to play golf. This mild winter we've had is really making me want to get back out on the course...sooner rather than later. I've even been privileged to play some pretty nice courses over the years.
It's also great to head out and watch the pros play live. The PGA tour came through the DFW area and even in Greensboro while I lived there. So I would head out to the tournaments when I could. And when I couldn't see the pros in person I would sit and catch the tournaments on TV.
So why am I writing about watching golf on TV? Because it's about to be great again. You may have heard the news that Tiger's coming back today. (Unless you've been hiding under a rock) And that's exciting news for golf fans and for sports fans in general.
These are special times. Just think, during my lifetime I've been privileged to witness a lot of sports history. (The greatest basketball player ever in Michael Jordan comes to mind.) And with Tiger we get to see the greatest golfer ever play the game.
So, I'll be tuning into the Match Play Championship this weekend and watching to see the tournaments Tiger plays over the season. And I bet that most of you will too.
But I wonder how the other guys on the PGA feel about Tiger coming back? This commercial probably sums it up best.

Haha...that's great.
Ahh...it's that time of year again. I'm already getting a major itch to get out on the course.
I tuned in to the match play this weekend and saw some great play from Ogilvy. That guy has some serious game right now.
Was that course gorgeous or what?
FYI: I'm bring my clubs to the coaching network meetings. I think they end at 3:00 so I'm banking on lots of sunshine and some twilight greens fees in SC.
